The Turkey Burgers

This is a recipe strictly from my husband (Love) and he was more than happy to share his amazing recipe with the world. Which I find GREAT cause OH-EM-GEE these burgers are so tasty, juicy and fulling. He came up with this recipe one night and it took a few trials and errors to get it just right.


  • 3lbs of ground Turkey
  • 1 cup of Italian breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 chopped sweet or yellow onion
  • 3 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1/2 tbs of salted butter
  • 2 tbs of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tbs of Lawry’s seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • 1 tsp of black fine pepper
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 1 tsp of crushed pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp of chili powder (optional)


  1. Saute chopped onion with minced garlic and butter until onions are soft/ slightly brown
  2. In a large bowl mix ALL the ingredients well including the sauted onions
  3. Form into burger patties. The thicker the juicier. Outdoor Grill or cook on cast iron grill indoors
